I, for 6 months before the election, this research IBM. Great value, solid notebook. Love, the keyboard and access help from IBM. I have the technical support for the above information and assistance with software installations and updates the driver, and they were very good and patient with all my detailed questions. This is important for me. . . have a good technical support is available. The T41 has a 3 year warranty.
IBM Web site has a good support. I love the stuff where automatic scans your computer and find out what you need to be updated. Sometimes their latest driver updates for the IT person. But, then download the installation software and it works fine. However, it should focus on. . . If you want to understand what you have downloaded. Not complete for the beginner. Support walked me through and I was once on the road.
So far so good after just one month, the rocks T41! In particular, the high-end graphics card, glad I went for it. I can tell the difference when you compare with my desktop LCD.
The recorder works well and I use Nero 6 I had a recorder 4 times on my desktop and write at 24x. . . What a difference.
If you are looking for a laptop, look for the device. Paying dollars more and go with IBM. . . very glad that I did!
This is the first ThinkPad I bought for myself, the other three that were used in the last eight years by the company where I worked.
The decision was simple:
1. Lowest total cost, after deducting the cost of the 3-year warranty, high resolution LCD screen, Windows XP Pro, thin and light design and high quality materials.
2. Proven reliability: this means that we will charge no additional cost, my property to 3 years.
