This review is from:. 100,416 ez LArobe for 13 3-inch MacBook (Black / White) (Electronics) I bought this for my new 13 "MacBook Pro (same size as the older 13-inch MacBook unibody published last year) and was disappointed with the adaptation of this case. Build quality is very good – I like the internal protection zip and the foam is made out. It's like a small bump or two could resist. However, there is a good inch of space inside the case. There is great latitude / longitude and depth wise. This case is definitely not "like a glove." My MacBook slides, if, within the IT, and in general, makes only one other aspect thin notebook bulky.
Good, if not for a very bad fit.
This review is to be:. 100,695 ez La Robe Sleeve for MacBook 13 Allure 3 (Moka) (Electronics) INTRO
I used to throw a separate STM neoprene sleeve for my old 15-inch MacBook Pro (which I put in the laptop compartment of my backpack Oakley), and while it looks great and comfortable fit, I discovered that in difficult conditions … As jam packed with my backpack (my job requires me to) a lot of pull around … that the zipper would grind a little '(somehow found its way through the mouth "interior" Porter "), so that small scratches on the MBP, and like all neoprene sleeve, which has not been able to avoid instability if it were something solid Smack Down inside.
Then bought a new unibody 13 "MBP to replace the old laptop, I was looking for a sleeve, which could provide protection in more. I decided a lot of research and the jump in LArobe Moka. Here's my take:
PROS
+ Nice design. . . although I found most elegant sleeve (Isis Dei, has some sleeves Nice)
+ Less expensive than comparable sleeves
+ Memory foam is thicker neoprene. . . It seems, may require more visits to prevent scratches and even a couple of small dents
+ Hinges are shaped fingers for a secure grip
+ Process (A little 'easier vs neoprene), if you only use the envelope
CONS
- Really disappointed with the length content. The sides of the sleeves already shown some wear out of the box (white threading emerged from under the layer of brown) on each side. I suspect that the brown really fade over time and usage. Never had the problem for 2 years with the neoprene sleeve.
- It's not a perfect fit for the 13 "Unibody MacBook / Pro There are only a small margin of width and height-wise, and I feel the portable sliding into the sleeve. This would not be a big problem, except the inside of the sleeve is lined with soft, not something (like the Incase sleeves). It 'the same material as the exterior … Natural rigid something. It 'still matter, so do not think it would be my new MBP, but I'd feel better if there was a soft padding.
- The lips 'inner' call is kept closed when the sleeve is fully zipped. . . particularly in the upper sleeve. If the hinges on my old neoprene sleeve may be through the inner lip, in the state closed to receive, then I thought the same thing would be even more here. I have a hinge point for both cards resting on one side, the sleeve (if the seal of the neighbors).
CONCLUSION
Overall, this is still a decent sleeve. The memory foam is no longer protection from scratches and small drops offer the typical neoprene sleeve. I was ready to give this pipe a 4 / 5, because I knew that this is not a perfect fit for my MBP (bear in mind there are only very few cases be made specifically for the new 13 "" unibodies), but the lack of a proper seal and zip surprisingly poor quality exterior really killed my enthusiasm for the LArobe. I'm still the case, since almost always throw in a backpack with a padded compartment for notebooks, but it will probably be replaced as soon as I feel like dropping $ 30 + for a better solution.
Think before you buy:
Booq Taipan * S Fit (apparently perfect for 13 "unibody MacBook / Pro … Otherwise, more or less than any other neoprene sleeve out)
* Tom Bihn Brain Cell (in exceptional form and innovative protection … … but very expensive and cumbersome, if installed in a backpack)
* Isis Dei Maniche (memory foam and beautiful designs IMO … That the same disadvantages as the LArobe) have
* Applesac (really popular with users of the forum only for Mac)
This review is to be:. 100,695 ez La Robe Sleeve for MacBook 13 Allure 3 (Moka) (Electronics) customer review by Amazon Vine ™ Program (What's this?) First of all, remember that designed the product for 13 3 "Macbook, as I said on the website. So if you think you have non-option for the MacBook, so the specific dimensions of research.
(+), Both MBA and adaptation black MacBook very well.
(+) The sleeve came in a Ziplock bag. The design of the packaging, "Finger-fitting" hinge and inner lips that protects the notebook from scratches by zip, suggests a good industrial design.
(+) There is a wide range of color choices, so that a design "unique" for each customer.
(+) The memory foam feels cardboard on the first touch, but it deforms under pressure and there were good traction. This offer is rather thick (5mm) and probably a good protection, if your laptop in a bag / briefcase. Personally, I do not think that it would offer better protection against surges or sharp objects sleeve of another "big".
My buying: the current price range (<$ 25) is accessible. I tried the Caselogic neoprene Incase and Marware Sport Folio sleeve for my MBA, 13 "and 15 MB" MBP. I would prefer a sale of these others, because of sustainability, style and focus on memory foam.
